RHA Gala 2007 |
RHA Gala 2007 The 2007 RHA Gala was a major fundraising event for the gallery. A new addition to the charity auction was a Master Artworks section where specially commissioned works by artists Martin Gale RHA, John Shinnors, Donald Teskey RHA and Liam Belton RHA were auctioned. This year’s recipient of the RHA Gold Medal was writer Anthony Cronin. Minister of State Dick Roche graciously awarded him his medal for his outstanding literary contribution to cultural life in Ireland. After a candle lit dinner guests danced to the ever youthful Dicky Rock and his band into the small hours.
